Important Information and Bankruptcy Myths

Know that ALMOST ALL debt counseling, debt consolidation and/or debt settlement agencies (like the ones you see on TV and the internet) are complete shams and frauds. No one ever gets out of debt that way and about 98% of the people still have to file bankruptcy anyway. The only difference is that you're just out a whole bunch of money you paid to them for doing nothing...and you can't get your money back because of the fine print in the contract with them and because they are out of state so the cost would be too much for you to afford to sue them (which they know because that's why you called them…you're in financial distress). Most people could pay for their entire bankruptcy for less than 3-5 months payments to those crooked companies. Plus those "plans" they give you are for at least 5 years (60 months) and a chapter 7 bankruptcy is over in under six (6) months from the day you walk in the door. I tell everyone this and have posted it on my website and no debt consolidation company has ever contacted me or sued me for sharing this information with you. Why? Because it is 100% true!

Another example is that you (like most people) probably think filing chapter 7 will ruin your credit for 7 years, right? WRONG. Chapter 7 only effects your credit for one year and after 2 years I can even get you a mortgage at the standard rate at that time (like now 5.5 to 6%). Basically, everything you (and the public) have/has been told about bankruptcy is a lie and intended to scare you away from filing. The government and big business does this intentionally, in fact if the public knew the truth everyone with unsecured debt of 20% or more of their gross income should file bankruptcy (Example: You have $15,000 in credit card debt and your families gross income [see line 1 of your federal tax return] is $60,000 or less) because you will never get out of debt. At least get fully educated and know all of the REAL FACTS and how it will affect you and your family before you decide not to file. Thank you for reading this and give me a call if you have any questions.

Even if you have read this entire website you have only scratched the surface of understanding how bankruptcy can help you and our family. You must at least have a free telephone consultation or an office consultation to fully understand your rights before you decide whether or not to file bankruptcy. You should NOT make your decision based upon what you think you know about bankruptcy or all the myths that have been told to you by the general public over the last twenty years, as all the myths that have been told to you are just that, MYTHS! It has taken me 16 years to learn bankruptcy law in full and complete detail and believe me the effect that bankruptcy has on your life is much shorter and far less negative than you would believe.
